The capital of Cantabria is a city whose history is closely connected to the sea, a friendly city, open to the visitors and situated in a priviliged natural enviroment, with more than 30 public parks and a number of beaches, distinguised with the blue flag of the European Community.

Meals

The conference site is at the very centre of town; it is surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafeterias, snack bars, etc. offering a wide choice of meal types and prices.

In Rome do as Romans do; in Spain eat as Spaniards eat. Spaniards enjoy one of the hightest life expectancies in the world, due to a great extent to eating habits. Therefore, we suggest Conference participants to sample local cuisine during the lunch break, in any of the restaurants that surround the "Paraninfo". Information on location and approximate prices will be provided. Please, make sure you are back -and alert- at 15.00 sharp!!

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will be on Tuesday, September 18.
The cost is 50 euros for Participants and Accompanying Person and 30 euros for Students.
