Temperatures in Santander are usually mild. The average maximum
in September is 21.78 degrees Celsius (71.06 Fahrenheit) and the
average minimum is 15.4 degrees Celsius (59.72 Fahrenheit). Although
September is one of the driest months, rain is a possibility.

The conference will be held at the Paraninfo of the
University of Cantabria

Meals
The conference site is at the very centre of town; it is surrounded
by numerous restaurants, cafeterias, snack bars, etc. offering
a wide choice of meal types and prices.
In Rome do as Romans do; in Spain eat as Spaniards eat. Spaniards
enjoy one of the hightest life expectancies in the world, due
to a great extent to eating habits. Therefore, we suggest Conference
participants to sample local cuisine during the lunch break, in
any of the restaurants that surround the "Paraninfo".

Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will be on Tuesday, September 18.
The cost is 50 euros for Participants and Accompanying Person
and 30 euros for Students.
